Today I had the worst day ever... Screw the BMic quiz!!! Hard questions tested, Long answers to be provided and worst of all, FLUNKING of paper!! Man, BMic is one of the worst subject that I've ever seen and studied throughout of my school life!!! Screw the setter of the paper too!!!

Now inside the computer lab, waiting for facebook to load and killing time very slowly... Time passes so slow and to think i can actually find gaming websites to play and kill time but things happen to occur the opposite of what I want to accomplish...

Just not the day for me...

This is the one incident that I'll never forget about humanity is this society... Go on and read it... It's totally true...

Two Choices: What would you do? You make the choice. Don't look for a punch line, there isn't one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice?

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question:'When not interfered by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection. Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.’
‘Where is the natural order of things in my son?'The audience was stilled by the query. The father continued. 'I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.'

Then he told the following story:Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, 'Do you think they'll let me play?' I knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, 'We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.'

Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted. In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three. In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands. In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again. Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.At this juncture, do they let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball. However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed. The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher. The game would now be over. The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman.Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman's head, out of reach of all team mates.Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, 'Shay, run to first! Run to first!'Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base.He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.Everyone yelled, 'Run to second, run to second!'Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base.B y the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball. The smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team.He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head.Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home. All were screaming, 'Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay'Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, 'Run to third! Shay, run to third!'

As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, 'Shay, run home! Run home!'Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team.'That day', said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, 'the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world'.Shay didn't make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making me so happy, and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day!

AND NOW A LITTLE FOOT NOTE TO THIS STORY:We all send thousands of jokes through the e-mail, or even blogs without a second thought, but when it comes to sending messages about life choices, people hesitate. The crude, vulgar, and often obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion about decency is too often suppressed in our schools and workplaces.

If you're thinking about this message, chances are that you're probably sorting out the people in your address book who aren't the 'appropriate' ones to receive this type of message Well, the person who sent you this believes that we all can make a difference.

We all have thousands of opportunities every single day to help realize the 'natural order of things.' So many seemingly trivial interactions between two people present us with a choice:Do we pass along a little spark of love and humanity or do we pass up those opportunities and leave the world a little bit colder in the process?A wise man once said every society is judged by how it treats it's least fortunate amongst them. You now have two choices:

1. Share with your friends on this blog
2. Ignore this story and get on with life

Do the right thing... Make the right choice...

Today we are learning on how to write a professional lab report over at CSAS class as we will be having a test on it in about 2 to 3 weeks' time... It's fun as we work together and challenge the time to finish the tasks given to us... Then we are given a "huge" homework as we have to produce a formal lab report by the next lesson...

After CSAS class, we had MCP (Meet Care Person) and we are discussing about CCN day (don't ask me what's CCN day)... It's GOD DAMN BORING and I don't even know what to do on that very day... My friends and I were tasked to pack the stall up at the end of the day... Plus I have to do CIP (Community Involvement Programme) on Saturday where I have back problems, which I have to produce a letter verifying that I have back problems in order to miss the whole thing... Sucks!!! If that's the case, I would have to go to SGH (Singapore General Hospital) and find my principal doctor to write a letter, which costs me bloody $80!!! So in the end, I have no choice but to go as my father wouldn't even pay this sum of money just to verify that I got back problems... Haiz :(

It's just not my day... HMPH!!!

Last friday, I went to see my sister's POP(Passing Out Parade) over at NUS straight after school together with my family. The POP was really good as there were performances by the band majors and drum majors from 150 different secondary schools... Especially there's one group of the band majors performed an item for us where they used the song "Beat It" by M.J.(Michael Jackson). Then when the POP had ended, My family and I took bus 48 straight to Parkway and had Subway for dinner... The Cold Cut Trio was DAMN GOOD!!! I had a foot long of it and apparently I was very full after finishing the foot long all by myself as I hadn't had anything since breakfast that day... Stupid school!!! Don't give us any breaks on friday... You sure made my stomach suffered!!! DAMN YOU!!!

For today, I have my piano lessons going on... Dread to go for it... lucky next Sunday got no lesson... Otherwise I really have to miss my sister's performance over at Esplanade, which I really love to go and watch... It's free seating... who wouldn't want to go??

Dragging my feet over to my music studio.... :P

Today's lesson is all about doing our research for our research topics... I don't know why but something tells me that I am not in the mood to do anything right now... And the teacher is telling us to finish up last week's work where I don't even have a thumbdrive to save all my things...

Anyway had 6 hours of lab again... This time round the FC(Food Chemistry) lab is freaking slow... We have to wait for the stupid chemical reactions to occur where it takes up fully 3 hours of our time... So the whole lab session is GOD DAMN BORING!!!!

It's just not my day... :(

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

I shall not blog much today. Today I had a boring day in school, where everyday is boring to me, as far as school is involved... Was god damn tired during the FC lecture, then went for CSAS class and apparently it's more boring, not the teacher's fault but lies with the ENVIRONMENT THAT WE'RE IN... Then went to the library and did my homework with my friends... And met my classmate, jia min, at the bus stop. Chatted for a while and went straight home, did my logbook for my practical tomorrow and watched my favourite China's serial drama, 神探狄仁杰, by my second most favourite idol, 张子健... :D I mean how boring can my day get??

Well, guess it's just my day... No regrets though :D

Tuesday, November 3, 2009

Today I had a boring time over at music class. The computer hanged for a few times and it still doesn't respond to the end task. And we have wasted at least half an hour of our lesson. Bloody hell... Anyway i onyl found out that we don't have any BMic tutorial for today. Lucky i got no lesson, otherwise i am so gonna be late for my music tutorial, which I don't like to be late for any lesson for no apparent reason...

Here I am, inside the computer laboratory, updating my facebook and my blog... Blasting music into my ears, wasting my time over here... Still have to go over to my godmother's house straight after school at 7 p.m. and go to the airport with her, where her flight is at 10:55 p.m... Worst comes to worst, I have CSAS(communication Skills For Applied Sciecne) tomorrow... The lucky thing is I am going to do my maths homework with my friends, Maryann and Jia Lin after school at 4 p.m...

Well, that's my life... Gotta admit that I have this kind of lifestyle... No regrets :D

Monday, November 2, 2009

Today is the day that I really had a good time with my friends, Maryann and Jia Lin :D I shall never forget this very day where we had the fun that we've never had before! We nearly fell alseep in BMic lecture, AGAIN, that sounds really ironic... Oh well anyways...

We were playing crossword puzzle during our 3pm break where we use all our brain juices to think of the suitable answers to fit in. When we couldn't find the answers for some of the questions, we went to the computer laboratory to search. Just as Maryann was searching, both Jia Lin and I went to Facebook and checked out our farm, which apparently I was supposed to level up today but in the end I didn't. So in the end Maryann went into Facebook too and we looked at each of our photos... Somehow I find Maryann's pictures funny in such a way that she's doing all kinds of stupid stuffs, like a teenager but still had the kid's thinkings... Oops :P Then we went for our tutorial class...

Like I said, I'll never forget today... :D
